Mine ownership provides a strategic advantage over our competitors. This critical piece of the puzzle provides effective forecasting and accurate projected growth for our customers. We also partnered with local miners to supplement our demands as the market increases or decreases. CoNor LLC is also the preferred distributor for the largest Barite producer in Mexico. Our strategic alliances provide us with the best product from all regions of Mexico making us the largest importer of Mexican barite in to the U.S.
Distribution
Our U.S. distribution facility is strategically located in Eagle Pass, Texas. It is located 300 miles from the Permian Basin and right above the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale. Our facility is located near the US/Mexico border, making daily bridge crossings efficient and quick. Our staff works around the clock to ensure the proper flow of material to our customers. We employ staff on both the Mexican and U.S. sides to handle all material from its original form as raw ore to the final milled product at 200 mesh. We execute the final step in our equipment by delivering to mud plants or drill sites.
Storage
Our storage capacity is 800 tons of finished 4.1+ barite in vertical silos. Two - 200 ton silos are located in our Mexican facility and two - 200 tons silos are in our Eagle Pass facility. Bulk bags consisting of 3,300 lb. are also available for pickup or delivery. We also have the capability of producing 100 lb. sacks. Our new 22 acre facility will be operational the second quarter of 2018 furthermore increasing our capacity.
Transportation
CoNor LLC owns and operates pneumatics and flatbeds, both on the Mexican and U.S. sides of the border. Our drivers are experienced, dependable, honest and dedicated to providing excellent service. Our customers come first. Our drivers go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
